Let's One Last Tea Before We Part
Let's one last tea before we part
- let's drink beneath the yew -
let's sit again by wicket gate
which no one passes through.
Spoon all the sugar, tip the pot,
and crush the final scone,
then give the table to the crows.
Leave me and all - Alone.
Hollowed souls of lost minds
The devils enterprise
A trophy for your life
Satan devised
A prayer less
A certain death
To be sacrificed for eternity
Hell's fires
Cathedrals in the heavens
Loss of gravity
Rushing away in all directions
A beginning to an end
Harvester of life,
deaths catalyst
Grand design the loss of God
Chaos, a conspirators theory
Alchemists of black gold
The infinitesimal and the infinite collide
Space vortex aligned, time displacement
Indirection, spin dark energies
The edge of oblivion
Alien eyes x-ray the heavens
I can't help but think
it's ironic
a well liked man
smoked his whole life
and it finally caught up to him
but yet here we are
gathered outside his funeral;
smoking,
like we didn't learn the lesson
Yesterday never was
Tomorrow never comes
No not now,
never in a moment
Lost it there
The wasted, the wanted
Dead or alive
Didn't stop to begin to get off
